MS Word editor for SAP Script and Smart Forms: On/Off


Usually, this configuration is done using Basis transaction code 'I18N'

I18N












But in case you are not authorized to execute 'I18N' then same configuration can be achieved through ABAP program "RSCPSETEDITOR".

Go to transaction code -> SE38: Type program name “RSCPSETEDITOR” and Execute (F8)



Select the checkbox for SAP Script and Smart Forms and click on 'Activate' or press (F8)

Click 'Yes' to set MS Word editor for SAP Script



Click 'Yes' to set MS Word editor for Smart Forms














Click 'Yes'



MS Word is set as default editor for SAP Script and Smart Forms!

To view Word editor for Smart Forms go to transaction Code: SMARTFORMS

















To De-activate MS Word editor and enable SAP Text Editor:
Execute above program without selecting the checkboxes as shown below:
