Run SAP in Web Browser

SAP Internet Transaction S erver (ITS) was the first approach of SAP to extend business applications to a Web Browser or the Internet by converting SAP dynpro screens into HTML format thereby making it possible to access SAP systems with user-friendly Web technology.

ITS is integrated into the kernel of the SAP Web Application Server 6.40 as an Internet Communication Framework (ICF) service called the integrated ITS.


Pre-requisite:
Tcode: SMICM Verify if the ICM is working correctly. The status should be running.

Configuration:
To run SAP in Web Browser, configure following: 

Tcode: SE80
Menu Bar: Utilities –> Settings–>Internet Transaction Server (Tab)–>Publish (Tab)



SE80: Publish Internet Services: SYSTEM, SHUFFLER and WEBGUI as shown


Execute tcode SICF then press F8
Activate 'Default_host' i.e. Right click on 'Default_host' -> Activate
SICF



Then navigate to default_host->sap->bc->gui->sap->its->webgui
Right click on 'webgui' node and select 'Test Service'



'Test Service' opens a browser window with URL: http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/
